Royal Greenwich Get together Community Festival and Armed Forces Day

Excited to be involved in this year’s Royal Greenwich Get together Community Festival and Armed Forces Day.

Mace Interiors and DGP Logistics teams from the Woolwich Creative District project, both took part in the event, talking about cycle safety, promoting health and wellbeing, as well as renovation work in the Woolwich area.

Mace interiors had a lorry at the side of a stall, where members of public could sit in the driver’s seat and guess where the blind spots could be, all to promote cycle safety – all competitors were issued with a free raffle ticket to win new bikes.

DGP Logistics assisted with Mace’s activity on the day and organised a stall ‘Urban Smoothie’, set up alongside to promote health and wellbeing, where participants cycled to make their own smoothie for free.

Well done to Louise Down and Samantha Bates from DGP Logistics head office, and Ish Omar, Bryn Ferris and Sean Locke from the site logistics team, all who donated time to assist on the day.
