DGP Managing Director, Saheb Dhesi, announced and presented the CEO of the Year award at last week’s Building awards 2021, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

Saheb Dhesi said, “It was an honour for DGP Logistics to sponsor the CEO of the Year award this year and again the quality of all the entries remained extremely high”.

DGP Logistics is proud to be selected as a finalist under the category of ‘Specialist Contractor of the Year’ at the prestigious 2021 Building Awards being held tonight at the Grosvenor House Hotel. This is testament to the hard work and dedication of the DGP team and a year which has been challenging for the whole of the construction industry.

Congratulations to everyone who made the shortlist in each of the categories and good luck to all the finalists.

DGP operatives, clients and our fellow trades have all joined us in celebrating Black History Month. Our booklet, celebrating Black Briton’s historic achievements, has now been distributed across a number of our sites.

Kay commented, “The Black History Month booklet was an excellent educational initiative, something different and has been well received by all on site”.

Black History Month – DGP have created a booklet to celebrate the contributions of Black Britons and to learn about their historic achievements which have helped enrich our country and communities.

The book will be distributed over the coming week to our operatives, clients and fellow trades on sites.

It is with great sorrow that we remember our colleague, Alin Minciuna, a valued member of our HMRC Nottingham team. Our thoughts are with his family at this time and we are making all efforts to help repatriate his body to them in Romania.

A massive thank you to gary mason, Mace Interiors PM, for taking a lead on helping raise funds for the repatriation. We are extremely grateful to our friends from Mace Interiors and Bancroft Ltd who have generously donated towards this effort and to all our colleagues on site who have contributed. Celebrating Excellence – Congratulations goes to Larrissa De Castro, DGP Welfare Operator, for winning ISG Operative of the Month Award at UCL.

Michael Singh, DGP Contracts Manager said, “This award is testament to Larrissa’s hard work and dedication. Thanks also goes to Dumitru Duca, Ikenna Linford and Adnan Majeed for their continued efforts and keeping the site safe and tidy.”

DGP Logistics are joining in Macmillan’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning 2021’ charity fundraising event. A fantastic annual campaign for a wonderful cause. The event is about getting together to have a chat and a cup of coffee or tea and inviting people to make a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support.

DGP Logistics will be holding coffee mornings across some of our sites over the next week.
