DGP Logistics is pleased to have started work, providing a range of Construction Logistics services to Lendlease on the Manchester ‘Our Town Hall Project’, commissioned by Manchester City Council. Lendlease have an excellent track record delivering heritage projects on this scale.
Opened in 1877, the Grade I listed building will be enhanced for contemporary use and will be repaired and upgraded to modern safety and accessibility standards, including new lifts, welfare facilities and a new visitor centre. The buildings upper floors will be converted into flexible office space.
The 4 year project will also involve structural repairs and restoration work throughout, including the state rooms, the Great Hall and the Lord Mayors Suite.
